OSCARS noms completely leaves out climate-themed movies, directors, actors... WTF?

With the Academy's preferential scoring system in the Best Picture category, several impressive films failed to achieve the necessary five percent of ballots listing it in the No. 1 position to make the top tier, including SNOWPIERCER, NOAH, INTO THE STORM, YOUNG ONES and THE ROVER, all movies recognized and honored the CLI FI MOVIE AWARDS (dubbed the CLIFFIES) and see korgw101.blogspot.com for full list of CLIFFIES winners for 2014 movies. LIST goes official release on February 15, a week before OSCARS telecast.
Other movies that missed out: Christopher Nolan's "Interstellar"; Bong Joon-ho's dystopian thriller, "Snowpiercer";  and SNOWPIERCER, NOAH, INTO THE STORM, YOUNG ONES and THE ROVER, all movies recognized and honored the CLI FI MOVIE AWARDS (dubbed the CLIFFIES) and see korgw101.blogspot.com for full list of CLIFFIES winners for 2014 movies. LIST goes official release on February 15, a week before OSCARS telecast.

Missing from the Best Directors circle are the filmmakers Darren Aronofsky for NOAH and Korean Director BOON for SNOWPIERCER and Jake Paltrow for YOUNG ONES.
